Dr. Debra Dunston is a seasoned grant writer and an award-winning fundraiser with over 40 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and faith-based community. As a nonprofit founder and the CEO of Kingdom Focused Funding, she brings a unique anointing to her work, combining practical expertise in program development and organizational sustainability with a deep spiritual calling to empower mission-minded organizations.

Dr. Debra has been instrumental in securing millions of dollars in funding for nonprofit organizations and faith-based initiatives. Her work is guided by a Kingdom view of stewardship, believing every resource is a tool for advancing community work, noted in Matthew 25:31-46. She leverages her God-given wisdom to research aligned funding opportunities, build strategic relationships with government agencies, grant funders, and philanthropic investors, and position organizations for sustainable, purpose-driven growth.

Dr. Debra Dunston is a much sought-after speaker and author. She has preached and presented at churches, conferences, and workshops throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada. She has the uncanny ability to help individuals view their experiences more productively. She has over 37 years of experience serving families in the church, community outreach programs, and nonprofit organizations as a trauma specialist, program director, funding strategist, and organizational leader.

She is the author of “Ten Principles to Heal Emotional Wounds” and “Getting Free & Staying Free.” She is currently working on a new book project, “From Vision to Provision: The Ministry Leader’s Guide to Strategic Funding for Sustainable Community Outreach.”
